The mission of The Los Angeles Composers Project is to bring together talented young musicians who share a passion for new music in order to exhibit the wide spectrum of music coming out of Los Angeles today. Our goal is to connect local audiences with the artists living and working in their community by providing venue for the presentation of new music created in LA. At the same time, we intend to provide a valuable experience for the musicians involved by giving them the opportunity to collaborate with the composers whose music they are performing. The Los Angeles Composers Project aims at advancing the LA new music scene by building an alliance between local musicians, composers, and audience members alike.
